When Hunter Renfroe stepped in to help his parents manage their business, he was surprised at how much time was spent managing the building. He quickly realized that business owners who are also building owners deal with issues he never considered. Managing landscapers, plumbers, painters, and dozens of other vendors stole time away from overseeing day-to-day operations. That’s when the vision for Maestro began to take shape. With our team of experts, Maestro has developed a network of trusted vendors of the exact services that owner-occupiers need.

Jason is responsible for Maestro’s geographic expansion and retaining top quality talent. Jason comes to us with over nine years of experience in the commercial janitorial industry where he managed over three million square feet of cleanable office, medical & industrial space. Jason has a passion for customer service, building lasting relationships and working hard with a sense of urgency. Jason and his team have successfully completed over 1,000 work orders since Maestro’s inception. He loves Birmingham and is excited to be part of its renaissance along with the rest of us at Maestro.

Jason lives in Historic Roebuck Springs with his dog Radley, a Great Pyrenees.

andy beckman, account manager

Andy specializes in new business development for Maestro. He has been in sales for over fifteen years and enjoys the challenge of exceeding his set benchmarks. After several years in the furniture business, he spent time in the financial industry where he earned his Series 7 designation. He comes to Maestro with experience in commercial buildings and development. He is very proud of how Birmingham has progressed in the last half century.

Andy enjoys spending time with his five year old son Braxton, hiking, camping and drawing.

Building on his twenty-years of sales and service, Steve’s primary role with Maestro is to develop new business. A military brat born in Ramstein, Germany graduated high school from Alamogordo, New Mexico came back to Alabama for college and has been here for the last 20 years. Both of his parents and grandparents grew up in the Birmingham area and he has always considered Birmingham home. Steve has a passion for serving others. He teaches in the youth church choir and is also the adult special needs “Happy Class” bus driver and volunteer. Nothing makes him happier than seeing the revitalization of this city he loves so much.

In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, walking his dog and absolutely loves everything about golf and football.

Melanie is responsible for the account management of our building services division. She exceeds client expectations by ensuring maintenance needs are met efficiently and on-time. Melanie comes to us with over twelve years of experience in the property management industry. Melanie's ability to forge strong relationships stems from her unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction and strong attention to detail. After a short stint of traveling, Melanie has returned to the Greater Birmingham area and is very excited to be part of its development and growth.

Melanie loves to travel and has a very green thumb. She spends as much time as possible spoiling her two Malteses, Stevie and Ray.

As the second member of our Account Management team, Leigh Anne brings over twenty years of experience in the real estate and commercial property management industry in Birmingham. Her accuracy, promptness and attention to detail help ensure lasting business relationships and customer satisfaction. As a fourth generation native of Birmingham she is very excited to be a part of Birmingham’s revitalization. 

In her free time, Leigh Anne and her husband Jim stay very busy with their two sons, Aiden and Carter.  She also loves reading and traveling.

becky ray, building engineer

As our chief building engineer, Becky is responsible for making sure that our customers’ maintenance requests are met with complete satisfaction and in a timely manner. She began her maintenance experience many years ago on an “as needed” basis. Eventually what started as a hobby became a part time job and then turned into a career. For the last six years Becky has been serving in a variety of maintenance-related roles including being a certified HVAC technician. A born handy-woman, Becky can fix anything. Her genuine love for people makes it easy for her to communicate well with each customer. 

Becky and her husband, David, enjoys being “empty nesters”. They are proud grandparents of 27 grandchildren and growing.

Hunter focuses on organizational strategy, finance, construction management and project management. He's had a passion for real estate and construction all of his life, earning his real estate agent's license at the age of 21. Hunter worked through college as a laborer and later an engineer for a large Birmingham construction company, Hunter spent several years managing the growth and leadership of his family's staffing business, where he also led the development and construction of its new headquarters. After studying in Boston for two years, Hunter returned to Birmingham where he and his wife, Whitney, became proud parents of their first daughter, Marley.

Hunter is a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed real estate agent.
